Distance and transport India is a big country with big distances. The signs along the roads and the train- and bus information is rarely in English and many symbols can not be understood by foreigners. When travelling with Indian Adventures there will be a Norwegian tour guide that knows the country and the culture. All transport will be taken care of our tour guides. The traffic in India differs strongly from our Scandinavian traffic culture and on our motorbike tours you will learn how to drive in India. The country has left-sided driving and the horn is used frequently. The varying road standards makes the average speed significantly lower than what we are used to from our Scandinavian countries. Our Royal Enfielders are the perfect vehicles to experience exciting driving in one of the world's most exotic countries. As always when travelling in exotic countries, it can be necessary to make changes in the program on the spot due to unexpected circumstances. An adventure vacation that challenges you and gives you permanent memories is what attracts people. To be able to do this together with like-minded people is what Indian Adventures strive to provide. Indian Adventures was founded when Knut de Presno and Jim Lindquist were on a motorbike tour on high altitude in the Himalayas, autumn 2006. The idea of Indian Adventures was born. The idea to share these adventures and experiences with others. Indian Adventures was founded with a vision to give other motorcyclists the most exciting and eventful moment in life. Founders of Indian Adventures Knut de Presno is 51 years old and has lived together with his family for almost 8 years in India. During these years he traveled across the country and knows India and the surrounding countries very well. He is a qualified nurse and focuses on the clients' well-being and making sure they feel safe. Knut has been the leader of medical teams with doctors and nurses where the natural disasters have taken place in the last couple of years, for example, the earthquake in Pakistan and Haiti, the tsunami, and the hurricane on the Philippines. Knut has lead many of our tours and has been the leader of many tours in India, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan. He also follows up on Indian Adventure's humanity work which for example helps a children school in the poor areas of Delhi. Jim Lindquist is born 1966 and lives in Halden. He is a qualified lecturer in mechanical engineering and has a Masters degree in organisation and management. Jim has lived and worked at Kathmandu University in Nepal with a project that

The remaining balance has to be paid at least 60 days prior the trip. When booking a trip that departures in less than 60 days, the total amount has to be paid at once. Cancellation protection We recommend that our travelers have some sort of cancellation protection. Indian Adventures offers no cancellation protection, but you can easily get an insurance that covers cancellations from your insurance company. Banks often have travel insurance and cancellation insurance that are linked to their payment services. If you haven't got an insurance like this, our ordinary cancellation terms apply. See Travel Insurance. Compulsory full cover insurance on 1000 NOK is not included. This amount is paid together with the remaining balance 60 days prior departure. This insurance covers all the damages on the motorbike. No excess. Travel insurance You have to make sure that you have a good travel insurance that covers damages, home transport, and luggage! Force Majeure We will do our best to ensure that booked trips are carried out as planned or with necessary changes if something unexpected would occur. If external circumstances (“force majeure”) make it impossible to implement the travel plan, no reduction in price is made.
